I am starting this blog to articulate my thoughts, ideas and opinions on the affecting theme and ongoing incidents in my life as a junior faculty. I find such an articulation very helpful in shaping a genuine “living philosophy” of the integrated personal+career life of an academic. I believe this genuine philosophy plays an essential role in self-satisfaction of any person. What makes it more influential for a faculty is the integrated nature of  the academic life. I will write a separate blog on this topic later.

This weblog will cover my honest thoughts and feelings on the underlying theme and ongoing incidents in three large, medium and small-scale societies and communities affecting my life and career: global and local / hosting society, national (US) research community, school / department community.
